' Duck Pond Cellars Redesign - Charitable Giving

Charitable Giving

Since its inception in 1993, Duck Pond has been committed to supporting organizations which seek to benefit the surrounding community through wine donations and charitable contributions. Here are some of the ways we are giving back.

Wine and Other Items for Nonprofit Fundraising Use

Each year we receive hundreds of requests for charitable donations from worthy causes throughout the Northwest; unfortunately we are unable to donate to them all. In lieu of selecting just a few of these organizations to receive donations, we have implemented a special pricing program open to all qualified 501(c)(3) organizations for use in their fundraising efforts. Through this program, any qualified nonprofit can purchase wine, a VIP tour certificate or an accommodation certificate at a reduced price. If you have an upcoming fundraiser or special event benefitting a nonprofit, we invite you to take a look at our special pricing program for qualified 501(c)(3) organizations.

Staff-Selected Charitable Donations

Each year, we ask each of our employees to select an organization to receive a wine and tasting experience donation from Duck Pond. In the past few years, staff members have chosen to donate to: Golden Bond Rescue, Cat Adoption Team, The Giving Closet, The Chelsea Hicks Foundation, DoveLewis, Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Architechtural Heritage Center, Special Olympics Oregon, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Hospice of Redmond, Heartlinks, Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals and more.

Conservation Cuvée

We've partnered with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Conservation Program to produce a limited-edition Pinot Noir to support their conservation efforts. We've donated more than $20,000 to their efforts to date. Learn more here.

Give & Taste Program

Twice a year, Duck Pond partners with up to three nonprofits for a six-month period as part of our Give & Taste Program. Every month, our tasting room features a special wine only available for tasting as part of our Give & Taste Program. Guests may pay a nominal fee to taste the wine, and the entire tasting fee is donated to the nonprofit of their choice from our current Give & Taste partners. Since its inception in July 2014, our tasters have donated $4,726 through this program.

We are thrilled to partner with the following organizations for our July - December 2018 Give & Taste Program.

Would your nonprofit like to be one of our Give & Taste Partners? Please complete this application and return it to us to be considered for an upcoming partnership.

Guidelines for Becoming a Give & Taste Partner

  • Duck Pond is only able to partner with registered 501(c)(3) organizations.
  • Sorry, Duck Pond is unable to partner with specific churches or schools; churches and schools may receive special pricing on wine or auction items, provided they are a 501(c)(3).
  • Preference will be given to those organizations which most closely align with our mission for charitable giving (see below).
